Variety - Garnacha (Grenache)

Winemaker - Belen Hita

Appellation - Méntrida, Spain

Vineyard - Old bush vines (50-70 years) of Garnacha planted on granitic sandy soils that are extremely poor in nutrients. These high altitude vineyards, at 400-600 meters, experience extreme diurnal shifts in temperature –scorching days and frigid nights.

Alcohol - 14.5%

Case Production - n/a

Vinification and Elevage - The grapes are destemmed and fermented with wild yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
